Doc Popcorn, a growing national popcorn franchise, has chosen pcAmerica's Restaurant Pro Express POS package to replace its electronic cash registers.
The new system allows the company to customize software, as well as pcAmerica-recommended peripherals. The new POS systems are being rolled out throughout the entire Doc Popcorn system.
Restaurant Pro Express is a touchscreen restaurant POS system that provides fast operation, accurate order taking and detailed reports with an easy-to-use interface. The software has dozens of features in a package that is capable of sharing data between multiple restaurants.
The POS system bundle Doc Popcorn and pcAmerica executives chose includes the Elo TouchSystems 15B1 All-in-One (AiO) Touchcomputer from TE Connectivity and Epson's TM-T70 thermal receipt printer. Both products offer compact designs, ideally suited to occupy minimal counter space. Doc Popcorn operates 34 stores, including popcorn carts where space is minimal.
"pcAmerica offers an extremely easy to use and highly customizable restaurant software solution that is certified on the Elo TouchSystems 15B1 AiO and with the Epson receipt printer which were both perfect fits for our cart locations," said Rob Woodfield, director of operations for Doc Popcorn. "We needed a point of sale setup that was small but had all of the functionality of a standard size POS terminal."
