Dollar dogs at Hot Dog on a Stick this January

Hot Dog on a Stick is offering $1 turkey or veggie dogs every January Tuesday as part of a customer appreciation promotion that incorporates social media and online ordering initiatives, according to a news release. 

The one-dollar-dog promotion urges fans to submit pictures via social media of their friends and family enjoying Hot Dog on a Stick, using the hashtag #stickasmile or #hotdogonastick for the chance to win a Party Pack. Likewise, the brand is giving bounce-back coupons with purchases that give customers 15 percent off their next online order. 

The promotion will help the chain's customers get familiar with a new online order and pick-up system that allows order-ahead take-out diners to skip the line in-store after submitting their choices on the brand's website or through its mobile app. In fact, just downloading the app nets customers a coupon for one free Hot Dog on a Stick.

"For more than 70 years, Hot Dog on a Stick has been 'sticking a smile on your face,' but our fantastic customers and fans have also been sticking a smile on our face," Hot Dog on a Stick Vice President Lisa Merrell, said in a news release. "As we continue to open new locations and expand love for Hot Dog on a Stick across the country, we know we owe it all to our customers."
