Jack in the Box's San Francisco pilot with DoorDash went so well that the company has expanded the home delivery program to more than 200 cities across 14 new markets, according to a company press release. Top markets include Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle and Denver.
Later this year, the brand is continuing to add cities to the service, which includes access to the chain's complete menu for delivery as late as 3 a.m. in some cities. To publicize the chain's increased accessibility to home diners, it's offering a night-time deal on its Sriracha Curly Fry Burger Munchie Meal for $6, which is a $2-discount.
Two other LTOs ushering in the new DoorDash service include a guacamole and bacon chicken sandwich or an item from Jack’s brunchfast menu in the middle of the day. The TV-watching public will also be introduced to the DoorDash delivery with a new ad campaign about the service.
"Jack in the Box has epitomized variety and choice for guests throughout its existence," CMO Iwona Alter said in a news release. "Our expanded partnership with DoorDash now offers guests the choice – come join us in-restaurant or get your cravings delivered to your door. Anytime you crave it, we’ll serve it."
"After months piloting with Jack in the Box in San Francisco, we’ve made delivery from their restaurants even faster, easier and simpler, and we are excited to be taking this partnership to the next level," DoorDash Head of Business Development Prahar Shah, said in the release.
