DQ Blizzard candles gone with the (online) wind

Offer just about anything of value free, particularly when it smells like a favorite dessert, and don't expect it to hang around long as DQ found out this morning when its Blizzard-scented candle giveaway gave all the little cups of scented delight away in less than 30 minutes, according to an update this afternoon from the brant at 12:39 p.m.

DQ offered consumers the candles in scents to match fall-flavored Blizzards at no charge in exchange for the orderer's information around things like addresses, emails and phone numbers. So many slammed into the special DQCandleCollection.com this Monday morning, willingly handing over their contact information, that the candles were gone with the wind by lunchtime, the brand said. 

But the fall Blizzards are still available for a charge, including pumpkin pie, harvest berry, Heath caramel brownie, snickerdoodle and Snickers.
