Dunkin' Donuts adds Angus Steak to breakfast lineup

Dunkin' Donuts has introduced the new Angus Steak & Egg Sandwich to its breakfast lineup.

The offering is made with Angus beef topped with an egg and melted American cheese, served on an oven-toasted onion bagel. It is made to order and available all day long for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide.

"A big breakfast isn't always possible when you're on the go, but with our new Angus Steak & Egg Sandwich, our guests can enjoy the full-bodied flavors of a traditional steak and eggs breakfast packed into a portable sandwich any time during their busy day," said John Costello, chief global marketing and innovation officer at parent company Dunkin' Brands.

Dunkin' Donuts is marking the new savory sandwich by helping fans eat "Like a Boss." Fans who visit the "Like a Boss" tab on Dunkin' Donuts' Facebook page can create a video resume dedicated to celebrating their "moments of awesomeness," complete with music and photos.

Based on the idea that eating "Like a Boss" will help them to keep their day running, the video resume will use the fan's first name and Facebook profile photo, and will randomly populate pictures and qualities highlighting their daily feats. Once created, fans have the option of sharing their videos with friends via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

"Our 'Like a Boss' Facebook promotion offers our fans a fun way to show the world how they take on their day, and celebrates what makes them unique and special," Costello added.
