Dunkin' Donuts adds wraps, Baskin-Robbins-inspired iced coffee

Dunkin' Donuts' menu expanded significantly this week. Beginning today, new wraps are available at participating restaurants all day.

The wraps are available in two varieties: chicken salad and tuna salad. Both are served on a warm, 8-inch tortilla with white cheddar cheese and bacon.

The wraps are a permanent addition to Dunkin' Donuts' menu of sandwiches, which includes bakery sandwiches available in varieties including ham and cheese; turkey, cheddar and bacon; chicken salad and tuna salad, and Texas Toast grilled cheese. Dunkin' Donuts' bakery sandwiches are served oven-toasted on a French roll, bagel, croissant, Texas Toast or multigrain flatbread.

We are committed to finding new and innovative ways to meet the needs of people seeking more variety and more choices in snacks to help get them through their busy days," said John Costello, Dunkin' Donuts president, Global Marketing and Innovation. "Our new wraps enhance our popular lineup of bakery sandwiches and baked goods, and offer our guests even more ways to keep running on Dunkin' whether it's 8 a.m. or 8 p.m."

Baskin-Robbins-inspired iced coffee

Additionally, for the first time, Dunkin' Donuts has partnered with its sister brand Baskin-Robbins to rollout two new flavors of iced coffee inspired by Baskin-Robbins ice cream.

Available now through summer, Dunkin' Donuts' Mint Chocolate Chip Iced Coffee includes a taste of mint swirled with chocolate and the flavor of sweet cream, while Old Fashioned Butter Pecan offers the taste of butter roasted pecans and sweet cream.

"We are committed to offering our guests familiar flavors with an appealing twist, and we're particularly excited to bring together Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins for the first time to create two new refreshing iced coffee flavors," said Stan Frankenthaler, executive chef and vice president of product innovation at parent company Dunkin' Brands Group Inc.

To celebrate its new iced coffee flavors, Dunkin' Donuts is offering a Twitter sweepstakes through April 5. Each day, the brand will ask a new trivia question about either Baskin-Robbins or iced coffee. Fans who tweet the correct answer @DunkinDonuts using the special hashtag #BRanDD are eligible to win one of two $31 Dunkin' Donuts mGifts, representing 31 Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors available each month.

Finally, Dunkin' Donuts has also introduced two new spring pastel donuts. The spring showers donut features a yeast shell, filled with apple raspberry jelly, and topped with strawberry and pastel green icing drizzle over white dipping icing. The spring fling donut is a yeast ring donut, frosted with strawberry icing and topped with pastel green and pastel yellow drizzle. Both donuts are available at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide through May.
