Dunkin’ Donuts will open two restaurants in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is seeking franchisees in Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced Aug. 11 the signing of a multi-unit, store-development agreement with existing franchise group Panama City Donut Network, LLC to develop two Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and its surrounding areas. The first restaurant is planned to open in Fall 2016, with the other new locations to open in the following year. Panama City Donut Network also purchased three existing Baton Rouge restaurants as part of the agreement.
"We are excited to expand the brands’ presence in Louisiana and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here," Dunkin' Donuts franchisee Vik Patel said. “We have a passion and loyalty for the brand and look forward to opening our restaurants in the years to come.”
Led by Patel, his team will manage and oversee the operations for each Dunkin' Donuts restaurant. Patel, a franchisee with Dunkin’ Donuts for nine years, operates 27 restaurants in Florida and two in Alabama.
Franchise opportunities are available throughout Louisiana in Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe and New Orleans, according to the company. To help fuel growth in Louisiana, special development incentives are available. including reduced royalty fees for three years and up to $5,000 in local store-marketing support for timely openings.
