It's December and you know what that means, right? The Girl Scout cookies are coming, of course, and in just a few weeks. In tribute to that fact, Dunkin' is bringing back their Girl Scout cookies-flavored coffees, a news release said.
Just ahead of the green-clad girls' sales campaign that kicks off this January, Dunkin' is — under a special licensing agreement with Girl Scouts of the USA — bringing back Coconut Caramel and Thin Mints-inspired coffee flavors, along this year with new Trefoils shortbread flavor. All will be available by the end of December through the beginning of spring 2019 at participating Dunkin' restaurants nationwide.
All flavors will be available in the brand's full lineup of hot and iced coffees, espresso beverages, frozen coffee and frozen chocolate. And if you want the cookie to dip in that cookie flavored cup 'o' jo, many Dunkin' locations will have local troops stationed at location on weekends in February for cookie orders. In fact, last year alone, the brand gave more than 12,000 scouts a chance to rack up some sweet sales in the name of a good cause.
"There are few brands that fit better together than Dunkin' and Girl Scouts of the USA," Dunkin' Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Patty Healy said in the release. "From great flavor combinations to shared values, such as positivity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit — it's a perfect pairing."
