Dunkin' targets travelers with touchdown at Vegas Hard Rock

June 23, 2017

For the truly hip traveling public, Hard Rock hotels and those airport-centric Hudson News shops are part of the everyday scenery. Now Dunkin' Donuts is teaming up with those brands to lay down roots in the middle of tourist-teeming Las Vegas.

Hudson News parent, the Hudson Group, has partnered with Dunkin' Donuts to open a traveler-magnet location right in the middle of the Vegas strip at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, a news release said. This partnership with the hospitality company marks Dunkin's first location in a Hard Rock site, but this is the brand's 27th in Nevada. Hudson Group also operates more than 20 other Dunkin' Donuts locations along with its airport locations of Hudson News.

The round-the-clock Vegas Dunkin' Donuts is situated on the hotel's first floor and has all the brand's latest updates, with a particular focus on the needs and wants of travelers.

"The hospitality industry is a great way for us to broaden our brand awareness and introduce our signature coffees and baked goods to a new and ever-evolving audience nationwide," Dunkin' Brands Director of Non-traditional Development Chris Burr said in a news release.

The opening and partnership is part of Dunkin's expansion strategy, that aims to establish more than 17,000 U.S. Dunkin' Donuts locations and 750 alternative store sites, including everything from military bases to supermarkets.
