El Pollo Loco named a top franchise for Hispanics for the first time

The World Franchising Network has listed El Pollo Loco on its list of Top Franchises for Hispanics. This is the first time the chicken establishment has made the list, which has been published annually since 2000.

Considerations are made based on numerous factors, including historical performance, franchisee satisfaction, training, brand identification and financial support. The percentage of Hispanic-owned franchises and Hispanics on a company's upper management team are also considered.

In 2009, El Pollo Loco was named a "Best-in-Class" advertiser by the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies.

El Pollo Loco, Inc. is headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif. and currently operates more than 400 restaurants in 13 states.
