El Pollo Loco opens 2nd Kingwood, Texas store

El Pollo Loco has opened its newest location in Kingwood, Texas, on West Lake Houston Parkway. The franchise is owned and operated by Atour Eyvazian and Anil Yadav under AA Pollo Inc., a news release said. 

The brand's second Kingwood store is also the 11 owned by AA Pollo.

"Anil, Atour and their team have been devoted franchise partners since 2014 and continue to contribute exponentially to the success of our brand," El Pollo Loco CEO Steve Sather, said in the release. "They exemplify what we look for in new and existing franchisee relationships — great operators who align with our vision — and we look forward to continuing this partnership and opening even more El Pollo Loco restaurants with AA Pollo in the future."

The nearly 3,000-square-foot store seats 84 and was built with the brand's recently introduced Vision Design with warm textures and rustic elements around the chain's open kitchen layout. El Pollo Loco now has more than 470 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
