El Pollo Loco opens in California town

El Pollo Loco opened a location this week on Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, California, a news release said.

The 2,815-square-foot restaurant seats 56 and features the chain's new facilities design that focuses on providing an authentic Mexican "feel," with lots of rustic elements and an open kitchen. The fire-grilled chicken QSR now has more than 480 company locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Louisiana. El Pollo Loco is also currently expanding its presence in a number of key markets.
