El Pollo Loco opens North Texas store

El Pollo Loco Inc. has opened its first Arlington, Texas, location this week under the ownership of Chicken Time V LLC, a news release said.

"Arlington is a thriving city in North Texas, which makes it the ideal location for our growing list of restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth market," Chicken Time Holdings CEO David Henry, said in the release. "As a city with endless opportunities and constant expansion, we are excited to open our newest El Pollo Loco location in Arlington."

The 2,995-square-foot freestanding restaurant has seating for 66 guests and features the brand's new "Vision Design" with Mexican decor and an open kitchen. This location is among the brand's 480 restaurants now operating in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Louisiana.
