El Pollo Loco presses 'go' on delivery for 280 stores

El Pollo Loco is now offering delivery from more than 280 locations after choosing DoorDash as its exclusive partner last September. Customers can now order directly from the brand's website or the new El Pollo Loco app, a news release said.

"Delivery has been a major focus for us as we continue to better connect with our customers and provide them with a high-quality, convenient and differentiated dining experience," El Pollo Loco Chief Marketing Officer Ed Valle said in the release. 

The grilled chicken QSR chain said it successfully piloted delivery with DoorDash in Las Vegas and in Orange County, California, and has expanded delivery now across Los Angeles and six other markets nationally.
