Erbert & Gerbert's rewarding customers for donating to charity

July 9, 2013

Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shop is making a difference in local communities across the country by donating to JDRF, the Special Olympics, food banks and other various charities from July 8 to Aug. 11.

Customers donating a dollar to the chain's charities will receive a dollar in comet cash to use at their next visit to Erbert & Gerbert's. One hundred percent of their donation goes to the chain's designated charities.

"Our franchisees have always been very supportive of their local communities and are excited to take part in our Making a Difference campaign," said Chuck Schwalbe, director of marketing. "We are thrilled to be able to give back and help out great organizations like the Special Olympics and JDRF."

Founded in 1988 in Eau Claire, Wis., and themed originally from a child's storybook, Erbert & Gerbert's has grown to more than 63 locations in eight states, with locations ranging from urban centers to rural areas.
