SanDiego.com: Record gas prices will likely take a bite out of profits at Jack In The Box and other fast-food chains, at least if history is a guide. "Fast-food customers tend to brown bag more often" when their budgets are crimped, said Ken Dunkley of Quick Food Consulting in La Jolla.
