If you can’t justify bringing a Big Crave Case to the Thanksgiving table, sneak some Sliders into the trimmings instead. White Castle has released its turkey stuffing recipe just in time for the holiday, calling for 10 original Sliders.
The White Castle Turkey Stuffing has been a tradition among Cravers for 20 years. The recipe includes:
Tear burgers into small pieces and place into a large mixing bowl. Add celery and seasonings. Add chicken broth and toss ingredients together. Stuff the cavity of the turkey with the stuffing just before roasting.
This recipe yields about nine cups, which is appropriate for a 10 to 12 pound turkey. One White Castle hamburger should be used for each pound of turkey.
"Family and tradition are both important to White Castle and we're excited about the longevity of the stuffing recipe," Jamie Richardson, vice president of corporate relations, said. "The recipe is a way for Cravers to enjoy White Castle during their Thanksgiving feast."
Other recipes are also available on White Castle’s website. If you don’t feel like cooking, all White Castle restaurants are open on Thanksgiving.
