Hardee's boxes up Thanksgiving in Jacksonville

Hardee's reports that its research recently uncovered a fascinating little Thanksgiving tidbit: Americans are looking beyond the traditional Norman Rockwell-style spread for their Nov. 28 feast this year, with fully 45% of Americans reporting they're "exploring alternatives to the traditional Thanksgiving," according to a news release. 

The burger-centered brand has opted to make a move on that fact at its Jacksonville, Florida stores, by introducing its first Hardee's Thanksgiving in a Box, including:  

• Stuffing Tenders: This seasonal take on the brand's chicken tenders, combines white meat chicken tenders with a sage-and-herb stuffing breading that fries up crisp and is served with chicken gravy. 
• Sweet Potato Waffle Fries: A sweeter, orange-er version of the classic waffle-cut frie made with sweet potatoes, tossed in sweet waffle batter and fried. 
• Toasted Onion Coated Green Beans: This re-interpretation of the famous green bean casserole includes crisp green beans coated in a toasted onion breading and fried.

The catch again here is that the seasonal special is only available in at the brand's Jacksonville, Florida stores from Wednesday through Dec. 3 or until they run out.
