Eaton, Ohio-based Henny Penny Corporation was given McDonald’s 2010 Worldwide Equipment Partnership of the Year award at the quick-service company’s recent Equipment Supplier Summit.
Henny Penny’s win is attributed to the introduction of its new LVE Series 200 fryer, which is designed specifically for the high-volume needs of McDonald’s units.
"Our partnership with McDonald's is greatly valued and we are sincerely honored to have this recognition," said Rob Connelly, president, Henny Penny Corporation. "This award is a true testament to the innovative thinking running throughout our organization at all levels.”
In addition to the 2010 Worldwide Equipment Partnership of the Year title, Henny Penny has won two additional McDonald's awards in as many years. In 2009, Henny Penny was named McDonald's Worldwide Equipment Supplier of the Year and in 2008 the company received McDonald's Innovation Award for invention of the LOV.
Henny Penny has worked with the QSR giant for more than 30 years, supplying holding and frying equipment.
