Hot Dog on a Stick adds catering service

Hot Dog on a Stick has added a catering program to its operations. The chain has new company-branded catering vehicles that deliver to customers requesting the service.

The company can cater events with attendance starting with as few as 50 people with a $500 minimum, including parties, corporate events and school functions. Hot Dog on a Stick's menu items include fresh-squeezed lemonade, hot dogs and cheese on a stick, which will be cooked to order on-site by Hot Dog on a Stick employees from a 5-foot by-5-foot mini mobile booth.

"We have always had the ability to cater much larger functions, such as big corporate events, sporting events and enrollment days at universities," said Laurie Sonia, executive vice president. "This led to requests to bring some Hot Dog on a Stick fun to smaller venues in California and Utah. We listened and are now looking forward to helping groups of all sizes enjoy memorable events with our menu items that are sure to stick a smile on their guests' faces."

Individuals interested in the expanded catering services have four meal combinations to choose from, ranging from $6 to $10 per person, with the choice of the original Hot Dog on a Stick, American or pepper jack cheese on a stick, and veggie dog on a stick, and a variety of flavored kettle chips. Lemonade flavors include original, cherry, and lime.

Hot Dog on a Stick's catering services will be available in Davis County, Salt Lake County and Utah County, Utah; Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and most of Inland Empire, Calif.; and areas of East Bay, San Francisco and San Jose, Calif. Event bookings require a $500 minimum, which includes a one hour serving time, with a cost of $50 for each additional hour.

For groups with less than 50 people, Hot Dog on a Stick has its Party Pack catering menu, offering Hot Dog on a Stick's signature menu items for smaller group events, available to order from any location.
