Jack in the Box offers '50s flair

SAN DIEGO — Jack in the Box restaurants are featuring the Diner Melt Combo, a modern take on classic favorites: patty melts and malts.

 

According to a news release, Jack's Diner Melt Combo includes a patty melt, a chocolate or vanilla Malted Crunch Shake, and Natural Cut Fries. Loaded with meat and cheese and built on the chain's signature sourdough bread, Jack's patty melts come with one or two jumbo beef patties, grilled onions, two melted cheeses, mayo-onion sauce and sweet mustard.

 

On the shake front, Jack is adding a vanilla version of its popular Chocolate Malted Crunch Shake. Both shakes feature real ice cream blended with malted crunch pieces.

 

Jack's Diner Melt Combo is available for a suggested price, excluding tax, of $5.39 with a single jumbo beef patty and $5.79 with two jumbo beef patties.
