Jack in the Box pairs with Grubhub with POS integration soon

May 10, 2018

Jack in the Box is partnering with Grubhub to deliver from hundreds of U.S. locations via the service's online and mobile platforms. A news release said the companies are also working together to incorporate Grubhub's POS integration into Jack in the Box's in-house system.

That capability alone will allow Jack in the Box restaurant operators to manage in-house and delivery orders from one device, thus eliminating the need for multiple tablet use and streamlining workflow for restaurant employees.

"We are thrilled to partner with Grubhub for marketplace-originated delivery and expand upon our budding roster of delivery partners," Jack in the Box CMO Iwona Alter, said in the release. "We look forward to continuing to deliver convenient food experiences to Jack in the Box fans while granting them even more access to some of their favorite late-night and classic Jack menu items."

Hundreds of stores in 20 Jack in the Box markets are now offering the service, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, St. Louis and Las Vegas. Today through May 15, the brand is giving free delivery with a minimum purchase to fans to kick off the new service.

Jack in the Box has more than 2,200 restaurants in 21 states and Guam.
