Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has named Todd Burke as vice president of Corporate Communications. Burke will lead internal and external strategic communications, and the public and government affairs functions for the Popeyes brand.
According to a news release, Burke’s experience includes work at JetBlue Airways, where he served as VP of Corporate Communications. He has also held strategic communications roles at Trans World Airlines, American Airlines, and most recently Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
“Todd’s unique experience leading multi-faceted communications teams for highly respected growth brands makes him highly qualified to lead our communications team,” Chief Brand Experience Officer Dick Lynch said in the release. “We’re excited to couple Todd’s expertise with our brand equity as we aim to share our story of an authentic, Louisiana-inspired brand with a global audience.”
Burke is relocating from San Francisco to Atlanta.
