J&J Snack Foods launches Oreo Churros for foodservice industry

J&J Snack Foods Corp. has partnered with Mondelez International to introduce Oreo Churros to the foodservice industry. According to a news release, the new offering features a crispy exterior and soft interior, and real Oreo cookie pieces. It will be sold nationwide in the foodservice channel and made its debut at the National Association of Convenience Stores Show last month.

Available in traditional churro sticks, double-twisted churros and bite-size churros, these snacks are aimed at the QSR segment, c-stores and sports and leisure venues.

The churros can be served with Oreo cookie creme dip, also supplied by J&J Snack Foods.
