Just in time for a Santa snack: Nacho Fries coming back

Taco Bell's Nacho Fries have a popularity that ranks right up there with Santa Claus, so the brand is bringing the spicy offering back this season beginning on Dec. 24, a news release said.

"In a year as difficult and uncertain as this one was, we know that consumers crave the comforts they love most," Taco Bell Chief Global Brand Officer Nikki Lawson, said in the release. "That's why we're excited to bring back Nacho Fries for our passionate fans to close out this year and kick off 2021 positively and deliciously."

Taco Bell launched Nacho fries in January 2018 and they became what the brand said was its most successful menu item, with more than 347 million servings to date. The fries have also had spinoffs like Steak Rattlesnake Fries, Reaper Ranch Fries and Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries.

The LTO is being ushered back in with the sixth chapter of the cinematic trailer-style ad creative, titled "The Craving" and starring Sarah Hyland and Joe Keery. The latest production was the result of a partnership with ad agency, Deutsch LA.
