Acumatica has announced that Kentucky Fried Chicken Management Pte Ltd. and Pizza Hut Singapore Pte Ltd. have selected Acumatica Cloud ERP to replace their aging JD Edwards software. Both franchisees are based out of Singapore.
By moving to the cloud, the companies will reduce maintenance costs associated with desktop software, gain access to applications from anywhere and consolidate multiple business functions under a centralized system.
"KFC management realized it was time to streamline operations and upgrade to a modern cloud system," said Sergey Vereshchagin, managing director of Acumatica Singapore. "Acumatica allowed KFC to make the upgrade and gain real-time access to a single business system to manage accounting, purchasing, catering sales, fixed assets and inventory."
By gathering sales, accounting and purchasing data, Acumatica delivers real-time dashboards and reports to help management make informed decisions. Acumatica also includes robust integration tools to simplify data import and communication with other external systems.
"KFC is another example of a brand-name company making the move to SaaS and the cloud," said Ezequiel Steiner, CEO at Acumatica. "The ability to deploy an internal cloud, customize source code and change business logic makes Acumatica an attractive option for businesses looking to upgrade from client-server solutions without being locked-in to SaaS-only providers."
