Krispy Kreme promotes HR leader

Krispy Kreme has appointed Cathleen D. Allred as SVP of Human Resources and Organizational Development, effective immediately. She will report to new president and CEO Tony Thompson, and succeeds Ken Hudson, who recently announced plans to retire.

“We are fortunate to have a proven and experienced leader like Cathleen who was more than ready to assume this very important senior leadership position on our team,” Executive Chairman Jim Morgan said in a news release. “She has proven herself to be a successful and strong business leader who understands the vital roles our team members play in growing our business and ensuring our commitment to outstanding customer service.”

Prior to her new role, Allred served as VP-Corporate Human Resources and Training from March 2008 to May 2014. She was the company’s HR director from November 2006 to March 2008.
