Las Vegas, Phoenix top markets for franchise growth

The Business Journal (Phoenix): Las Vegas and Phoenix took the top two spots in a survey of the nation's 39 largest markets for quick-serve franchise growth.
The survey by GE Capital Solutions' Scottsdale, Ariz., unit, Franchise Finance, tracked the growth of fast-food restaurants from 2004 to 2006.Charlotte, N.C., was third on the list, followed by Sacramento, Calif., and Raleigh, N.C.
