McDonald's adds Happy Meal characters

OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald's is adding characters from the new CGI animated family film, Doogal, to its Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals. Beginning Feb. 24 through March 16, young guests will receive one of eight characters inspired by the film with the purchase of a Happy Meal or Mighty Kids Meal, at participating McDonald's restaurants, while supplies last.
Doogal follows the adventures of four brave friends determined to save the world from the wicked sorcerer Zeebad. When Zeebad threatens to deep-freeze the earth, Doogal and his friends Brian, Dylan and Ermintrude band together to foil Zeebad's plot and save the day. The Weinstein Company's Doogal is in theatres Feb. 24.
