McDonald's and Burger King lobbyists fight trans-fat ban

Wall Street Journal: McDonald's lobbyists and Burger King operators are working to stop the New York City board of health from banning nearly all trans-fats from restaurant fare. If the ban passes on Dec. 5, the companies will face pressure to change recipes nationwide to maintain efficiency.
