McDonald's annual Give A Hand fundraiser kicks off

McDonald's 11th annual "Give A Hand" fundraiser benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities is underway now through Nov. 20.

Customers can make a donation to the RMHC by purchasing a paper "Give a Hand" at participating restaurants. They are available for $1, $3 or $5 and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the charity.

RMHC helps families with children affected by illness by keeping them together through treatment. Each year, 4 million families with critically ill children rely on the charity's services, according to a news release.
