McDonald's, Chinese officals working toward union

International Herald Tribune: McDonald's is cooperating with China's large state-controlled union to allow the formation of more union locals in its 670 outlets here.
A McDonald's spokesman said Monday that the company is now working with union officials to help establish a union at its stores in the southern province of Guangdong, one of the country's wealthiest regions.
