McDonald's creative agency among Stevie Awards finalists

NEW YORK — The 2009 American Business Awards have announced the finalists for theStevie Award, which includes two for the creative agency for McDonald's.
Chicago-based DDB, is a finalist in the category All Other Industries - Ads & Campaigns for its television commercial No Fry Left Behind. (See video below.) It also is a finalist for Advertising, Editorial, or Design Agency of the Year.
In the Business Innovation of the Year - Up to 100 Employees category, restaurant solution provider QLess from Altadena, Calif., is a finalist for its mobile queue-busting solution.
More than 2,600 entries were submitted this year for the awards in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Best New Product or Service of the Year.
Finalists were selected by business professionals nationwide during more than five weeks of preliminary judging. Members of the Awards' Boards of Distinguished Judges & Advisors, plus business leaders on nine specialized judging committees, will perform final judging through June 3 to determine this year's Stevie Award winners.
