McDonald's cult fave Szechuan sauce back for LTO

McDonald's cult favorite Szechuan sauce is back beginning March 31, but fans will have to hurry — it's available for a limited time only, just as in previous releases, according to a report in the New York Post.

The nugget dippin' sauce was first released in 1997 to celebrate the Disney animated film "Mulan." It later made a one-day-only splash in October 2017. McDonald's brought the sauce back to after two characters on an episode of the animated show "Rick and Morty" went on a quest to find the legendary sauce, but McDonald's had trouble keeping up with demand.

Customers can order the sweet sauce with a side of nuggets through its app, and may purchases five extra sauces.
