McDonald's debuts Big Mac Sauce dip cups

McDonald's is rolling out Big Mac sauce dip cups at participating U.S. locations, according to a press release.

The sauce cups will be available starting April 27 for a limited time for customers ordering through the McDonald's app. A free sauce option for orders of chicken nuggets will be available, along with a la carte ordering for other menu items.

The cups feature blue and silver packaging as a nod to the colors of the original Big Mac sandwich wraps, which debuted in 1968 after the sandwich was invented by an owner/operator in Pittsburgh.
