March 19, 2006
OAK BROOK, Ill. —McDonald's treated stay-at-home moms in several major U.S. cities to free coffee on March 17 through a partnership with Mocha Moms. According to a news release, the national organization for stay-at-home moms of color hosted coffee breaks at selected McDonald's restaurants in eight major U.S. cities: New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston.
The coffee breaks offered moms a chance to socialize over a cup of McDonald's new Premium Roast coffee and breakfast. The first 50 moms in attendance received a gift bag filled with a McDonald's Arch Card, a coffee mug and a journal.
