The McDonald's Money Monopoly Game kicks off this week, promising more individual cash prizes than previous game contests in the past decade.

Running from March 29 to April 25 the game offers 100 million food and cash prizes and good odds of winning a prize: one in four. There will be 500-plus million game pieces distributed. In each of the past four games McDonald's has doled out an average of 14 million free menu items – which represents a QPC for everyone in NYC and Chicago and which is more than the population of Rhode Island, notes an announcement.

"This year customers can play multiple ways: by collecting game pieces in-restaurant, peeling instant win game pieces, entering the weekly Money Monopoly Online Sweepstakes at www.playatmcd.com, or redeeming offers through the McDonald's app which automatically enters customers in a weekly sweepstakes to win $50,000,” stated Douglas Freeland, McDonald's U.S. director of sports and entertainment alliances.
