McDonald's testing RFID coupons in Japan

Wired: McDonald's is testing a new e-coupon system in Japan called the Kasazu, or contactless, coupon. The coupon is a payment application that is downloaded into a cell phone, then placed on top of an RFID reader by the user for instant payments and coupon redemption.
