Menu labeling could offer marketing advantage
November 12, 2008
Seattle Post-Intelligencer: The Seattle Post-Intelligencer editorial board has posited the possibility that menu labeling may actually prove to be a marketing advantage for restaurants. Most menu labeling laws, include that of King County, Wash., apply to chain restaurants, some with at least 10 units, depending on the municipality's ruling. The editorial board wonders if other non-chain restaurants will be drawn to follow suit to keep up as consumers come to expect the information.
