Mobivity Holdings Corp., a provider of smart receipt marketing solutions and mobile marketing technologies, has named William Van Epps to its board of directors as an independent director. The appointment of Van Epps brings the total number of directors to seven.
Van Epps spent eight years as part of the senior management team at Papa John's International, including as president from 2006-09. He was COO and SVP from 2004-06, and managing director of International from 2001-04.
Prior to joining Papa John's, he was president of the International Division of Yorkshire Global Restaurants, which includes Long John Silver's and A&W. He has also worked with Popeyes, Cinnabon, Seattle Coffee Co., and Chesapeake Bakery Café.
Van Epps most recently served as CEO of Proctor and Gamble's wholly-owned subsidiary, Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., from 2009 - 2011 where he launched and managed the unit's Tide Dry Cleaners and Mr. Clean Car Wash operations, according to a news release.
