New Orleans QSRs need workers

The Advocate: Fast-food restaurants in the greater New Orleans area are hungry for something: employees
"There's a very tiny labor pool and a whole lot of people trying to compete for those folks," said Ted Kergan, owner of Kergan Brothers, a Sonic franchisee with 40 locations in the state, some affected by Hurricane Katrina.
In the aftermath of the hurricane, with employees scattered and damaged homes still empty, Kergan said "starting pay has skyrocketed" in the search for workers.
