On menus this week, hot dogs go healthy and everyone takes a dive into seafood:

Nathan's Famous has introduced a new 50-percent reduced-fat variety frank.

With half the fat of traditional beef franks, the new product is a bun-length, skinless beef frank made with lean beef and Nathan's original seasonings. Nathan's designed the new item to provide a healthier option for customers. It is gluten free and contains no artificial flavors, colors or by-products. 

Fish and Chips have returned to Wienerschnitzel’s menu for a limited time. Two fish filets are served with tartar sauce and french fries at participating Wienerschnitzel locations through April 5. 

Participating Krystal Company restaurants are featuring the Krystal Fish Sandwich, Deluxe Fish Sandwich, Fish Basket Combo and the recently released Hushpups. The limited time menu items are available during lunch and dinner, the company said in an announcement.

The Krystal Fish features a filet of Alaskan Pollock breaded with panko crust, topped with tartar sauce and served on a bun with lettuce. The Fish Deluxe is the dressed-up version of the Krystal Fish with the addition of Krystal cheese. 

The Fish Basket Combo is the newest item and features three fish filets, medium fries, four Hushpups, and a medium drink. The average basket is $5.99.

Krystals Hushpups are made with Krystal's signature onions and available in quantities of five, eight and 14.

Customers can add Krystal Fish or Hushpups to any Mix 5 for $5 combo throughout the Lenten season.

Church's Chicken is offering a new Butterfly Shrimp Meal, a larger shrimp option available now through April 5, 2015.

"Lent is a perfect time to give our guests a taste of other great dishes that we make in small batches and serve hot to order," said Adam Tabachnikoff, VP of activation and product marketing, in a news release. "This year, we stepped up our culinary game and introduced a bigger and better shrimp offering, while also bringing back a fan favorite with our fish fillets. Both limited-time seafood feasts are perfectly paired with our honey-butter biscuits and fries."

The Butterfly Shrimp Meal features eight marinated fried shrimp served with Church's honey-butter biscuit, fries and a tangy cocktail sauce. The Butterfly Shrimp replaced last year's popcorn shrimp.
