Palmer Digital Group has launched the PDG 22OCBSM Order Confirmation Enclosure, offering a standalone solution that adds digital order confirmation to quick-service restaurant drive-thru lanes, according to a press release.

The enclosure integrates an LG high-bright outdoor display with a speaker, microphone and camera into a compact structure designed and manufactured entirely at the company's Aurora headquarters. The system allows customers to view their orders in real time without requiring a complete digital menu board replacement.

The enclosure adds an integrated visual confirmation display directly at the ordering position. It also creates opportunities for restaurants to promote limited-time offers and seasonal menu items while customers place their orders.

"Many restaurants want to begin adding digital technology to their drive-thru experience without investing in an entirely new digital menu board system," Chuck Lewis, president of Palmer Digital Group, said in the release. "Our new Order Confirmation Enclosure gives operators that opportunity. Customers receive immediate visual confirmation of their order exactly where they're placing it, and restaurant owners gain a flexible platform that supports promotions and future digital enhancements."

The enclosure is fabricated from 14-gauge galvanized steel and finished with a durable powder-coated exterior. It is mounted on its own foundation adjacent to the primary menu board, with power and content extended from the existing digital menu board through conduit connections to minimize trenching requirements.
