Papa John's teams up with King Kong

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Papa John's is partnering with Universal Studios Home Entertainment to promote its new Papa's Kong-sized specialty pizza, while treating customers to $3 off the March 28 release of the "King Kong" DVD.
According to a news release, Internet users can visit papajohns.com to see exclusive sneak peeks of behind-the-scenes production diaries from the movie and place advance orders for the Kong-sized specialty pizza.
The pizza will sell for $12.99, is 30 percent larger than Papa John's standard large pie and is topped with oversized versions of Papa John's pepperoni and Italian sausage toppings.
"This promotion is all about big pizza, big toppings, big taste and big entertainment," said Jim Ensign, Papa John's vice president of marketing communications.
