Pittsburgh Dunkin' Donuts honors employees

The "sweetest" Dunkin' Donuts employees in the Pittsburgh area were honored by the company October 16 in celebration of Sweetest Day.

The Pittsburgh Metro Dunkin' Donuts named 18 workers to be recognized for putting their customers first. The stores gave away one free donut for all "sweet employees" accompanied by their employers October 15.

Among the honorees is Ruth Cassella, who is 79 years old. She has served more than 1 million cups of coffee and doughnuts in her 25 years behind the counter of the New Castle Dunkin' Donuts.
