Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has introduced a new LTO that guests can tear apart – the Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken is available now through Aug. 25. It features two white meat tenderloins marinated in Louisiana seasonings and split down the middle for easier dipping, the company said in a news release.
It is served on a bed of Cajun fries with a buttermilk biscuit and a new Cajun Creamy Garlic Dippling Sauce for $3.99.
"At Popeyes, we're always looking for new ways to bring our guests the best chicken in the world," VP of Marketing, Hector Munoz, said in the release. "With Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken, our talented culinary team is at it again, treating Popeyes guests to a Louisiana twist on the most tender, juicy part of the chicken—the tenderloin."
The offering is reminiscent of the brand's Rip'n Chick'n, which was originally introduced in 2011, and the Dip'n Chick'n, also introduced that year. Popeyes has called these "staple" LTOs that have helped drive lunch traffic and increase the box and bundle business.
Popeyes teams up with Spotify
To promote the new Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken, Popeyes has teamed up with Spotify to offer a "Tear'n It Up" playlist during August. The playlist allows fans and artists to add their favorite tracks, or submit their original music for a chance to be heard by millions of other fans, the release said. The official Popeyes "Tear'n It Up" playlist on Spotify can be accessed at Popeyes.com/TearN.
