Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a division of AFC Enterprises Inc., is celebrating its 5th annual Crawfish Festival through Nov. 17.
During the promotion, Popeyes is offering its Crawfish Tackle Box — hand-battered and breaded crawfish, regular fries, biscuit and Creamy Horseradish Dipping Sauce — for $4.99. Guests can also make their Crawfish Tackle Box a combo by adding a regular drink or upgrade to a platter that includes two regular sides and an upsized drink. Popeyes' crawfish are breaded with the brand's signature Louisiana seasonings.
"For the fifth consecutive year we are celebrating our Crawfish Festival by offering Popeyes lovers a unique taste of a New Orleans favorite that is at the very roots of Louisiana cuisine," said Hector Munoz, vice president of Marketing. "As one of the only quick-service restaurant brands with the credibility to offer this Cajun delicacy, the guest response has grown each year."
Cajun turkey returns for the holidays
Also, Popeyes Cajun-style turkeys, approximately 9 to 13 pounds, are back for the holiday season. The turkeys are infused with Louisiana seasonings then flash-fried for a crispy coating, and finally roasted. The once-a-year LTO is available at participating restaurants through December, or until supplies last. Participating restaurants will be indicated on the Popeyes' website with a Cajun Turkey icon under the restaurant location address.
