Earlier this week, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen launched its limited-time offer Dip'n Chick'n. To coincide with the rollout, the Dip'n Chick'n Sweepstakes has been launched via Facebook.
The grand prize winner will receive a year's worth of Popeyes' chicken, equal to $500 in gift checks.
"It's a way to increase fans and engage the fans we have, and to create awareness of the product," said Karlie Lahm, social/digital media manager at Popeyes.
The contest has two components. One Facebook entry is a drawing that contestants can enter twice daily until the contest closes on Oct. 23. The display also includes a game where players capture pieces of falling chicken in a dip cup.
The interactive game is a fun way to show consumers how to eat the new Dip'n Chick'n, Lahm said.
At end of contest, the grand prize winner will chosen. Throughout the contest, five people will be selected daily to win a Popeyes' meal, or $5 in gift checks.
The campaign was launched with partner Capita.com.
