Presto has raised $10 million from Remus Capital-affiliated investors and other existing investors to support the expansion of its Voice AI technology for quick-service restaurant drive-thrus, the company has announced in a news release.
The funding follows expanded deployments with existing customers, new customer launches and continued investment in Presto Voice. The company also has recently announced partnerships with Toast and AI companies ElevenLabs and Bluejay as it builds out its technology platform.
"Over the past several months, we've continued to prove that Voice AI can deliver meaningful results at scale across some of the most demanding drive-thru environments and menus," Presto co-founder and CEO Krishna Gupta said in the release.
Gupta said the company is investing in product and operations as restaurant brands look to increase digitalization and standardization across their businesses. Additionally, Presto plans to use the new capital to expand deployments, further develop its technology and increase its reach among QSR customers.
