QSRs capture bigger slice of breakfast

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Breakfast is expanding at fast-food restaurants in both foot traffic and revenue because of the needs of time-crunched Americans, experts say.
 
Bagels, yogurt, stick-shaped French toast and assorted coffee flavors are joining traditional offerings such as scrambled eggs, biscuits and pancakes. The items are smaller, easier to unwrap and less susceptible to falling apart — making them easier to eat while stuck in traffic.
